On July 12th, the highly anticipated NBA Summer League kicked off, and Yang Hansen was a standout player. Throughout the game, he played for 24 minutes, shooting 7 times with 3 successful hits, including a three-pointer attempt with 1 made shot. He delivered a stunning performance with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 3 blocks.

Yang Hansen's presence on the court was undeniable. Whether it was on the offensive or defensive end, he showed an unparalleled ability that left a lasting impression. After the game, those who had initially selected Yang Hansen at the 16th pick in the draft were already congratulating themselves, realizing they had made a steal by choosing him.

Although his score may not seem impressive at first glance, there were many aspects of Yang Hansen's game that couldn't be measured by numbers. For instance, his positioning in rebounding allowed teammates to easily grab the ball.

In his first game, Yang Hansen showcased all his abilities, including his highly acclaimed basketball IQ. Compared to other players, what I particularly admire is Yang Hansen's relaxed demeanor.

After breaking through the opponent's defense, Yang Hansen would smile and point at them. Despite the exhaustion of the game, there was no sense of constraint in his play that you often see in Chinese players entering the NBA.

Even for players like Yao Ming, he couldn't command his teammates in his first game to the same extent as Yang Hansen does. Compare him to other greats like Wang Zhizhi, Yi Jianlian, and so on.

Despite having difficulties with English, Yang Hansen could socialize with his teammates off the court, engaging in light-hearted conversations. He seemed like a player who had grown up in an American basketball environment from a young age, with no sense of discomfort or adaptation issues.

His relaxed demeanor does not mean that Yang Hansen is not serious about playing basketball. As the summer league coach put it, "He smiles while playing, but he doesn't back down in the fight. I really appreciate that!"
